Nature: Indian River Accepts Delivery of New Brush Truck

Location: Station #1 – Oak Orchard

On Thursday afternoon, February 27th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company acceptted delivery of its new brush truck that will replace a 1999 Ford F350 Brush known as Brush 80-0 - https://irvfc.com/apparatus/detail/4609

This replacement brush truck will be a 2024 Ford F550 XL utility body purchased from Atlantic Emergency Solutions.

This unit will undergo some retrofitting and striping and we will commence with apparatus training prior to activating the unit in service as Brush 80.

Illustrated herewith are various photographs of this new unit as delivered to Indian River.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company wishes to acknowledge our Salesperson Brian Bashista as well as all of community supporters that have assisted with making this final phase of the 2023 Apparatus Replacement Initiative become a reality.
