Story

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is saddened by the loss of James W. Queen, Sr., who has served in the Delaware Volunteer Fire Service for more than 51 years.

Joining the Delaware Volunteer Fire Service in 1972 and serving with the following volunteer fire companies:

·         Camden-Wyoming (42) Fire Company

·         Christiana (3, 6, 12) Fire Company, and

·         Indian River (80) Volunteer Fire Company

The Board Directors, Officers and Members of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hereby extend our thoughts and prayers to the Queen family during these difficult times.
