Community Day – Community Church of Oak Orchard

On Saturday, September 12th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company will host and coordinate a Community Risk Reduction Initiative to highlight Fire Safety and Fire Prevention Information at the Community Day with the Community Church of Oak Orchard.

During the day, Indian River’s Fire Prevention Cohort will provide various information display and discussions for fire prevention and fire safety, as well as a fire prevention booth with educational and informational hand-outs for topics which included but not limited to:

• Fire Safety Topics

• Fire Prevention Topics

• Smoke Detector Awareness

• Fire Truck Rides

• Recruitment Initiatives

Traditionally, the Community Church of Oak Orchard hosts a Pig Roast, Car Show, recreational bouncing booth, craft show / yard sale, and various other attractions.
