The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company’s 2024 Apparatus Fund Drive is now in progress!

All property and business owners should be receiving an Apparatus Fund Drive solicitation in the mail during the month.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company gladly accepts donations and contributions of any amount at any time.

Our fire district is experiencing unprecedented residential growth with new housing developments commencing all the time and we must continue to acquire apparatus and equipment to accommodate the essential services demanded by our community.

Our goal is to provide the best equipment and apparatus possible for our most important resource -- the highly trained and motivated personnel that are ready to respond to your emergency.  Through the combination of these resources, we can be there to help you when you need us!

Our personnel pursue lengthy training initiatives to hone the skills necessary to serve you.  Our firefighter personnel are 100% volunteer!

Indian River has completed the first step in our apparatus replacement initiatives by replacing one of the two engines at our Long Neck facility.  This replacement unit arrived in July 2024 with a price tag of $840,000 and will be inservice during the month of September 2024.  The second step in our apparatus replacement initiative will commence shortly with an estimated delivery date in November 2024.
