Nature: Structure Fire – Mutual Aid Assignment – Standby Cover Up Assignment - Lewes (82) Fire Department

Assignment Location:  Lewes (82) FD – Station #2

On Thursday morning, October 29^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to provide a mutual aid assignment to the Lewes Fire Department – Station #2 in Nassau while they assisted the Milton (85) Fire Department with a structure fire on Fisherman’s Drive near Cool Springs.  It was reported to be a car on fire in the garage with exposures to the residence.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility

Emergency response crews coordinated the mutual aid assignment by providing an engine cover up to mitigate any alarms in the Lewes local.

All emergency response units were authorized to return to their respective stations upon completion.
