Nature: Long Neck Fire Station Work Continues

On Thursday, October 29th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company continues with overall enhancing the new fire station with the installation of epoxy coated flooring which is widely used in fire stations because it is engineered to meet the extreme demands of emergency response environments, offering a combination of safety, durability, and low maintenance.

These epoxy floors can withstand heavy foot traffic, constant apparatus movement, and high impact loads from fire trucks and equipment without cracking, chipping, or wearing down.  This ultimately reduces the need for frequent flooring replacements and lowers long-term maintenance costs.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to transform this facility into a showcase that the entire community can have pride in.

Illustrated herewith are pictures illustrating the transformation of the fire station floors.
