Brush & Marsh Fire at Massey’s Landing, Millsboro, DE 

As the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company reviews and compiles historical records and data, we have located some memorabilia that is worth sharing.  These images may provide insight in the area surroundings prior to the what the area growth and development is today.

This is an image of a marsh and brush fire at Massey’s Landing area at the end of Long Neck Road prior to the development of what is known as today. 

The fire truck is a 1960 GMC that was owned and operated by the Indian River Volunteer Fire Co., Inc.
