Indian River’s Fire Prevention Program at Oak Orchard–Riverdale Boys & Girls Club

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company conducts annual educational and recreational fire prevention programs during Fire Prevention Month for students at the Oak Orchard–Riverdale Boys & Girls Club. This initiative promotes fire safety awareness and preparedness amongst all children.

These visits are designed to enhance children’s understanding of fire prevention safety precautions which typically include:

• Fire prevention awareness techniques — interactive lessons on how to stay safe and prevent fires.

• Question & Answer sessions with firefighters — students ask questions and learn directly from experienced fire personnel.
