The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company (IRVFC), which proudly serves the Oak Orchard and Long Neck areas in Sussex County, Delaware, has officially revamped its online presence by launching a new online merchandise portal and donation workflow.
Fee-Free Fundraising on Zeffy:
To maximize the impact of its fundraising efforts, the 100% volunteer organization transitioned away from its previous PayPal setup to a modern platform powered by Zeffy. Because Zeffy is a fee-free platform tailored specifically for nonprofits, 100% of all merchandise proceeds and donations go directly toward supporting the fire company's operations and community missions.
What’s Available in the Store:
The upgraded digital storefront features an expanding inventory of apparel and collectibles, including:
• Apparel: T-shirts (available in both adult and youth sizes), cozy hoodies, and dedicated auxiliary shirts.
• Station 2 Gear: Special limited-edition apparel celebrating the company's newly renovated Station 2.
• Collectible Patches: Official IRVFC patches available for $7 each—ideal for jackets, gear bags, or patch collections.
Supporters can browse the live collection directly on the Indian River VFC Merch Store via Zeffy. Inventory is continuously updated as the storefront grows, and the platform accommodates both standard shipping and local pickup options during station open houses and public events.
