Nature: Vehicle Attempts to Navigate Floodwater - Mercer Avenue in Oak Orchard

On Sunday afternoon, September 27th, the Delaware State Police were requested to respond for a vehicle in floodwater and off the roadway into a ditch.  

There was not any emergency response units from Indian River requested.

It appears that a tan SUV type vehicle did not heed the flooding conditions went into a nearby drainage ditch and yard. 

This area of Mercer Avenue is widely known to be impacted with deep tidal saltwater conditions.
