Nature: Electrical Fire

On Saturday morning, September 26th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an electrical fire incident on Sharks Tooth Drive in the  Pot Nets Seaside development off of Long Neck Road.  

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 and Brush 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. 

Emergency response units evaluated and identified the incident which was an 

electrical box near a boat slip smoking and getting worse. 

The utility service provider was notified of the incident and all emergency response units were permitted to return to their respective facilities.
