Nature:  Automatic Fire Alarm / Carbon Monoxide Activations – Second Alarm in the Fire District

Location: John Adams Lane – Patriots Glen, DE  19966

 

On Wednesday evening, September 9th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a second alarm within the fire district.  It was reported to be an automatic alarm notification for fire and carbon monoxide activations.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.  Tower 80 responded to the second alarm at the location.

Emergency response crews coordinated an exterior and interior evaluation of the residential property.  It was identified to be faulty detectors and reviewed with the residential occupants

All emergency response apparatus were authorized to return to their quarters upon compilation of their assignments.
