Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Commercial Structure

On Tuesday morning, August 25^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm sounding within a commercial structure on Long Neck Road.  It was reported to be a second floor landing smoke detector.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew performed an exterior building evaluation and coordinated an interior evaluation finding no areas of specific concerns with no smoke or fire conditions.

After evaluation, all emergency response apparatus were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
