On Sunday evening, August 2nd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm in a residential location on West Kathryn Court in the Baylis Estates development off Mount Joy Road. It was reported to be an automatic fire alarm sounding.

Emergency response units included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency callback information identified a culinary mishap with a smoky overn wishing to cancel fire apparatus. 

All units were authorized to return or remain in quarters.
