Nature: Indian River Implements New Online Donation Portal

Address: Serving Oak Orchard – Long Neck in Sussex County, Delaware

On Thursday, July 30th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company officially implemented a new online Fund Drive donation portal powered by Zeffy, featuring enhanced QR?code functionality, streamlined mobile giving, and modern nonprofit?focused tools.

This transition marks a significant upgrade from the previously disabled PayPal donation workflow, giving Indian River a fully supported, fee?free platform where 100% of every donation goes directly to the fire company.

Indian River will still accept donations through all other methods. Your support directly strengthens our ability to serve the community.

How to Donate Today

  • Online Donations: Scan the QR Code to access the online portal

  • Mail-in Donations: Indian River Volunteer Fire Company Attn: Fundraising Coordinator

    • Station #1 - 32628 Oak Orchard Road Millsboro, DE 19966

    • Donation Post Office Box:  PO Box 1720, Millsboro, DE  19966

  • In-Person Donations: Donations may be dropped off at Station 1 in-person or via outside locked mailbox or in-person at Station 2

Indian River is excited to collaborate with Zeffy for all online donations, including Fund Drive contributions, Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) Response Donations, Auxiliary purchases, merchandise purchases, and other fundraising campaigns — all accessible through QR codes that link directly to secure Zeffy pages.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company.
