Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Residential

Location: 24922 Rivers Edge Rd, 19966

On Sunday evening, July 26^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an residential automatic fire alarm on Rivers Edge Road in the Stonewater Creek development off Indian Mission Road.  It was reported to be smoke detector activation.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crews were advised via the alarm company of a false sensor and requested to cancel.  Emergency response apparatus was already in the development and continued to the incident location.

After discussion with the homeowner and evaluation the area of concern was identified and emergency response units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
