Nature: Automatic Fire Alarms – Commercial Structure

On Tuesday, July 21st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm incident on Shore Plaza Blvd behind McDonald’s off John J. Williams Highway.  It was reported to be an automatic fire alarm within the commercial structure.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility with Tower 80 and Chief 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Police.

Emergency response crews were apprised that the commercial structure was finalizing construction and Chief 80 was on location as well as the caller wishing to cancel.

All emergency response personnel were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
