Nature: Firework Duty Crews – Long Neck Communities and Rehoboth Beach – Multiple Assignments

Location: Long Neck & Rehoboth Beach

On Sunday, July 5th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided designated standby crews for firework displays at Baywood Greens, Rehoboth Beach and Sun Retreats – Rehoboth Bay (formerly Leisure Point).

These specific unit was assignment included the crews to facilitate incendiary safety resources, fire suppression standby crews and other units were assigned to provide traffic control for departing patrons and guests as well as fire prevention measures.

Illustrated herewith were the specific unit assignments:

• Rehoboth Beach – Rescue 80, Utility 80-11 and Polaris 80 with designated personnel;

• Baywood Greens – Brusch with designated crew; and

• Sun Retreats – Rehoboth Bay – Squad 80 and additional resource crews from Dagsboro Fire Company.
