Nature: Peninsula Community Day – Windswept Park

Location: The Peninsula

The Peninsula Community Association hosted its Peninsula Day at Windswept Park in the Windswept community, offering residents fun activities and community engagement on June 28th from 11 am to 3 pm.  The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was invited to participate and hosted a Fire Prevention & Safety Display as well as actual activities for the children to partake in.

• Purpose: Peninsula Day is a community-focused event organized by the Peninsula Community Association to encourage resident participation, volunteering, and neighborhood engagement.  This is typically a block party atmosphere to draw residents from the surrounding sections of the neighborhood.

• Activities: Full schedule of activities was coordinated which included family-friendly games, social interactions, and volunteer opportunities. Guests are encouraged to check the official resource link for detailed activity times.
