Nature: Vehicle Accident w/Medics

Location: 401 Mallard Rd, 19966

On Wednesday evening, June 17^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident involving a golf cart.  Additional emergency alerts included the Sussex County Paramedics and the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.  It was reported to be golf cart and vehicle collision near Mallard Road in the Pot Nets Bayside development.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included patient stabilization where needed, vehicle stabilization where needed, traffic control and incident mitigation efforts.

It appears that a white BMW SUV was struck by a golf cart in the Pot Nets Bayside development.

The Delaware State Fire Police and Pot Nets Security assisted with traffic control.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
