On Monday morning, June 15th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm incident at the Sun Outdoors – Rehoboth Bay Campsite off Long Neck Road. It was reported to be an automatic fire alarm sounding within the commercial complex.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Incident Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck area.

It was identified with a second callback the proper password and desire to cancel the incident because the contractors were working and testing the system.

All units were authorized to return to quarters.
