Nature: Carbon Monoxide Detector

Location: 26944 Blue Jay Lane Pots Nets Bayside, DE 19966

On Sunday morning, June 14th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a carbon monoxide alarm sounding incident on Blue Jay Drive in the Pot Nets Bayside development.  It was reported that the CO detectors have activated within the residential structure.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included an initial size up task, exterior and interior evaluation with gas meter detectors as well as an overall evaluation.  There were no issues identified.

After discussion with the property occupants all emergency apparatus were unauthorized to return to their respective stations.
