Nature: Alarms - Residential (Single) - Smoke detector

On Saturday evening, June 13th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was were alerted for an automatic alarm sounding in a residential location on West Kathryn Court in the Baylis Estates development off of Mount Joy Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility. 

Emergency response crews completed an initial 360 exterior evaluation and commenced additional external reviews and could identify no visible issues  The incident was reviewed and placed on officers call for 36 hours.

The incident was placed under control and all units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
