Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Commercial Structure

On Wednesday evening, June 10th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm incident at the Holly Lakes Campsite General Facility off John J. Williams Highway.  It was reported to be a smoke detector and a general AFA.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior 360 evaluation and commencement with an interior evaluation no conditions or concerns prevalent.

It was identified to be a faulty detector.

All units were authorized to return or remain in quarters.
