Nature: Outside Fire

On Thursday, May 21^st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an outside (brush) fire at the Royal Farms on John J. Williams Highway.  It was reported to be a brush and mulch fire.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Brush 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments were to suppress the brush fire and saturate and rake the mulch to prevent further issues.

It appears that a bush (tree) and mulch caught fire in the parking lot of Royal Farms.

Upon completion of their assignments all apparatus was authorized to return to quarters.
