Nature: Alarms - Residential (Single) - Smoke detector

On Wednesday morning, May 20th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a residential automatic fire alarm sounding on Green Road.  It was reported to be a residential fire alarm issue.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard area.

Emergency response crew assignments included an initial incident size-up upon arrival and an exterior evaluation.

It was identified to be a single-family residential structure with nothing evident from the exterior with no audible or visible concerns being present.  We were not able to make contact with the occupants via door bell, knocking, or telephone.  We did not desire to make forcible entry based upon the no conditions being present. 

All emergency response apparatus were authorized to return to their specific assignments.
