Nature: Gas Leak

Location: 24264 Waters Edge Trl Millsboro, DE 19966

On Sunday afternoon, May 17^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a gas leak within a residential structure on Waters Edge Trail off Banks Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an initial 360 evaluation of the exterior and discussion with the occupants for an interior assessment which included gas meter detector readings and shut off of the gas at the tanks.

It was suspected that the concern was from an appliance.  The occupants were advised to contact utility service provider for additional evaluation.

All emergency response units were authorized to clear the assignment.
