Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Commercial Structure

On Tuesday, May 12th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm incident within a commercial structure in the Oak Orchard Professional Suites on John J. Williams Highway. It was reported to be an automatic fire alarm activation in a commercial structure potentially in Suite 8.  

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.  
  
Emergency response units from Indian River coordinated an initial exterior survey and commenced with an interior evaluation of the facility.  The Delaware State Police were notified based upon the burglar alarm activation resulting from the facility evaluation by the fire company personnel.
