On Tuesday morning, April 28^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided a ladder truck and flag presentation for veterans from American Legion Post 28 in Millsboro that attended the Honor Flight program in Washington, D.C.

Trip Missions for the Capital Region Honor Flight organizes these trips for Delaware veterans, with the mission to honor World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans by transporting them to visit their memorials in Washington, D.C. at no cost.  Honor Flight is a national non-profit organization that transports American veterans to Washington, D.C., for an all-expenses-paid trip to visit the memorials dedicated to their service and sacrifice.
