On Wednesday morning, April 15th, the Indian River (80) and Lewes (82) fire departments. Were alerted for an automatic fire alarm incident within a residential structure on Medallion Avenue in the Peninsula development.  It was reported to be an automatic fire alarm activation in a single- family residential structure.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Utility 80 from the Oak Orchard location and Engine 80 from the Long Neck area.

Emergency response units from Indian River provided an exterior and interior evaluation and identified issues with the devices. 

Upon confirmation, all apparatus units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
