On Sunday morning, April 12th, the Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company successfully hosted their buffet breakfast event, drawing hundreds of community members and receiving grateful acknowledgment for their support.

Event Overview

The Auxiliary hosts a series of buffet breakfast events at Station 1, 32628 Oak Orchard Road, Millsboro, DE. These breakfasts serve as popular fundraising efforts to support the fire company’s operations and community activities

Attendance and Participation

This buffet breakfast saw approximately 269 attendees, reflecting strong community interest and participation while hosting a Flower & Baked Goods Sales, fire company merchandise and 50/50 raffle.  Additionally, there was a fire prevention awareness and fire safety information table with valuable fire prevention and safety information available.

The events cater to all ages, $14 per adult, $7 for children ages 6–12, and free for children 5 and under.

Community Acknowledgment

The Auxiliary and Fire Company express their gratitude and appreciation for the patronage and support of all attendees.

The Auxiliary pledges to continue hosting these fundraising breakfast events, emphasizing the ongoing partnership with the local community.
