Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Commercial Residential Structure – Falcon Crest

On Sunday morning, April 12th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm incident within a commercial residential structure in the Falcon Crest development.  It was reported to be an automatic fire alarm activation in a commercial residential structure.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response units from Indian River coordinated an initial exterior residential survey and commenced with an interior evaluation as well. 

It was determined that this incident was a culinary mishap within the structure and all emergency response units were authorized to return to their respective stations.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control for the duration of the incident.
