Nature: Structure Fire - Residential (Single) – Assist Millsboro (83) – Cover Up Assignment

Address: 32031 Millsboro Hwy Millsboro, DE 19966

On Monday afternoon, March 9th, the Indian River (80), Dagsboro (73), Frankford (76) and Gumboro (70) fire companies were alerted to assist the Millsboro (83) fire company with a working residential structure on Millsboro Highway near Shaft Ox Corner. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard location and Utility 80 from the Long Neck location.

Emergency response crew assignments were to provide a cover up assignment for Millsboro Fire Company – Station 1.  The Frankford Fire Company provided a cover up assignment for Millsboro Fire Company – Station #2.

It appears that the residential structure fire was reported when the homeowners returned home.

The Delaware State Fire Police assistance with traffic control for the duration of the incident.
