Nature: Medical Emergency - Landing Zone Assignment
City: Winding Creek Village

On Wednesday evening, February 11th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad with a landing zone assignment in the Winding Creek development off of Banks Road. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. 

The landing zone was designed to be in the large field near the entrance to the development. 

All fire company emergency response apparatus were authorized to return to their respective quarters after the assignment was completed.
