The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is saddened to announce the passing of Jim Becker.

Indian River wishes to offer its condolences and deepest gratitude to the families and loved ones of Jim as well as any extended family members and friends.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you during these difficult times.

Jim’s tenure in the Delaware Fire Service included service as a Firefighter and Fire Police Officer with the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company.

Jim was an active part of the Fire Company during his years of volunteerism and taught many lessons regarding fire apparatus maintenance and repair – especially with diesel engines. Jim served faithfully for many years assisting his community in times of need.
