Nature: Structure Fire – Assist Dagsboro (73)

Address: 30914 Chestnut Dr., Kersey’s Evergreen Acres, DE 19966

Cross Streets: Poplar Av/Dead End

Early Monday morning, February 9^th, the Frankford (76), Millsboro (83), Gumboro (79), Selbyville (88), Indian River (80), Roxana (90), and Georgetown (77) fire companies were alerted to assist Dagsboro (73) Fire Company with a structure fire on Chestnut Drive in the Evergreen Acres development off DuPont Blvd.  Additional alerts included the Sussex County Paramedics. It was reported to be a fire in the garage and spreading to the residential structure. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included personnel to the designated manpower pool for assignments which may have included fire suppression assistance, salvage and recovery and other assignment delegated.

Initial arriving units went on-scene with fully involved structure including the residence
