Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Commercial Structure

On Saturday afternoon, January 12th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm at a commercial structure in Long Neck Shores.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Command 80 from the Long Neck area

The initial arriving emergency response crew was Deputy Chief 80 which quickly identified that the occupants accidentally set off the fire alarm system with birthday sparklers at an event.

All units were cancelled and authorized to return to their respective quarters.
