Nature: Trailer Fire – Assist Millsboro (83)
Location: 26031 Oak St Millsboro, DE 19966
On Friday morning, November 28th, the Indian River (80) and Dagsboro (73) fire companies were alerted to assist Millsboro (83) Fire Company with a trailer fire on Oak Street in the Mount Joy area. Additional emergency alerts included the Sussex County Paramedics and the Delaware State Police. This incident was located off Mount Joy Road and reported as a building / structure fire.
Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.
Emergency response crew assignments included establish water supply, assist with fire suppression, establish a manpower pool, activate numerous fire suppression attack lines, notify the respective utility service providers, and continue with mitigation efforts.
It appears that a residential manufactured home type structure as well as number vehicles, a motorcycle, four-wheeler type ATVs, golf cart, other type buildings and debris caught fire as part of this incident.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated the closure of Mount Joy Road in the designated area for the duration of the incident.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating.
