Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: Indian Mission Rd and Cannon Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Tuesday morning, July 15^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Indian Mission Road at Cannon Road.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.  It was reported to be a two vehicle collision with unknown status of injuries.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Rescue 80 from the Long Neck facility. 

Emergency response crew assignments included patient assessment and stabilizaiton if needed, vehicle stabilization if needed, traffic control, fluid and debris recovery and incident mitigation assistance.

It appears that a maroon Mazda 6 sedan and black Ford Mustang convertible collided at the intersection of the Indian Mission Road and Cannon Road at the entrance to Stonewater Creek residential development.  Both vehicles suffered damage rendering them inoperable.  There were no injuries associated with the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
