Nature: Medical Emergency

City: Peninsula Lakes

On Sunday afternoon, June 15th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a carbon monoxide (CO) investigation at a residential address in Peninsula Lakes off Bay Farm Road.  The fire company was requested to assist with a medical emergency incident. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior and interior evaluation of the facility as well as a consultation with the property owner.

There were no meter readings or issues of concern. 

All emergency response units were authorized to return to their respective stations.
