Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 25027 Tanager Lane, Peninsula Lakes, DE 19966

On Saturday afternoon, November 30th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident at a residence on Tanager Lane in the Peninsula Lakes development off Bay Farm Road. It was reported to be a loft area automatic fire alarm sounding at the residential location.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior evaluation, utilities located on the “D” side and after discussion with the residential occupants the incident was cancelled.

All responding units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
