Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: 33494 Lakeshore Circle Pot Nets Lakeside, DE 19966

On Thursday evening, November 2^nd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Lakeshore Circle in the Pot Nets Lakeside development.  It was reported to be a single vehicle into a residential structure.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police and the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

Emergency response crew assignments included the exterior evaluation of the residential structure, fluid and debris recovery when needed, and overall assistance to the property owners.

It appears that a white Jeep SUV was attempting to back into the driveway striking the residential structure.

The Delaware State Fire Police assistance with traffic control at the main entrance to the development and incident location.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
