Nature: Traffic Collision

Address: John J Williams Hwy and Shore Plaza Blvd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Wednesday, September 21^st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of Shore Plaza.  The actual incident location was at the entrance to Silicato Drive off John J. Williams Highway.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included traffic control, fluid and debris recovery, as well as incident mitigation. 

It appears that maroon Nissan compact car and a black RAM Pick up collided in the area.  There were no occupant injuries and all parties refused additional EMS services.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
