Nature: Shaffer Foundation Presents Checks to Designated First Responder Agencies

The Shaffer Foundation of Delaware's 5th Annual Rally for Our First Responders raised an incredible $154,064, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to local fire departments, EMTs, and police.

On Wednesday evening, August 19th, the designated beneficiaries attended the official check presentation event hosted by the Shaffer Foundation and Kyle Shaffer, President and Founder. 

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was a beneficiary and received a check for $14,000 from the Shaffer Foundation to honor our local heroes who serve their communities every day.

A heartfelt thank-you to Kyle Shaffer and the Shaffer Foundation of Delaware was tendered for their continued dedication to this meaningful cause and the lasting impact they make across Southern Delaware.
