Nature: Small Outside Fire

On Monday, May 4^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an outside fire in the area of the playground at the Shoppes of Long Neck Blvd.  It was identified as a mulch fire on the playground under the slide.

Emergency response apparatus from Indian River was already in the area based upon a previous service call incident and the response was limited to Brush 80.

The fire was identified as smoldering mulch and was saturated to fully suppress the concerns.

All emergency response apparatus was authorized to return to their respective stations.
