Nature: Smoke Detectors for Delaware Households In Need.

Every Delaware Volunteer Fire Company will be stocked with smoke detectors for Delawareans who need them. In cooperation with the State of Delaware, Sussex County has received 1,400 smoke alarms to be distributed throughout the fire departments.

Individual fire companies should have the detectors later this week – if you need one for your home – stop by any fire station. The smoke detectors are free.

The Bridgeville and Indian River fire companies coordinated efforts for delivery and housing.
