Nature: Structure Fire - Residential (Multiple)

On Wednesday evening, April 29^th, the Indian River (80), Milton (85) and Rehoboth Beach (86) fire companies were alerted to assist the Lewes (82) Fire Department with a multi-residential structure fire on Middleton Circle in the Plantations development off Plantations Road.  It was reported to be an appliance fire within the structure.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80, Tower 80 and Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility with Engine 80 and Traffic Control 80 responding for the Long Neck area.

As initial responding emergency response units arrived and initiated various size up and incident information gathering tasks, established laying in large diameter hose from the hydrants it was identified that the fire has been suppressed and downgraded the incident to the units already on location.

Indian River units were cancelled and authorized to return to their respective stations.
