Nature: Brush Fire – Oak Orchard Road & Shorebird Way – Plover Point

On Tuesday afternoon, March 31^st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a brush fire on Oak Orchard Road new Shorebird Way – Plover Point.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility while all other apparatus was held at the stations.

Emergency response crews were assigned to wet down the area to fully suppress the small fire.

The incident involved a small brush / grass fire approximately 2’ x 20’ alongside Oak Orchard Road.
