Nature: Automatic Crash Notification

Location: 26492 Topaz Rd Masseys Landing, DE 19966

On Saturday, March 7th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and Mid Sussex Rescue Squad were alerted for an automatic crash notification on Topaz Road in the Massey’s Landing development off of Long Neck Road. This incident was reported based upon an iPhone activation.

Emergency response apparatus from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility. 

Emergency response crew were responding to the area and were notified that no services would be needed and the Delaware State Police were on location. All other emergency response apparatus were cancelled and returned to their respective stations.
