Nature: Duty Officer - Alarms - Waterflow

On Tuesday evening, February 10th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company's Duty Officer was alerted for an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential building on Secluded Path in the Peninsula development off Bay Farm Road.  It was reported to be an automatic fire alarm sounding based upon broken piles.  

Emergency response units from Indian River included Chief 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included assistance with shutting off the water and silencing the alarm. 

It was determined that a busted pipe was directly associated with the incident. Assistance was requested to shut the alarm off with request to have the water shut off to the residential structure to allow for applicable repair and maintenance.
